HoYeon

The success of Squid Game's inaugural Netflix show, Hoyeon, a South Korean actor and model received international recognition. Hoyeon won a Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Supporting Actress, and was awarded the Screen Actors Guild Award for Outstanding Performance By the Female Actor in an Drama Series. Hoyeon is a native of Myeonmok-dong in Seoul. She started her modeling career in 2011 when she was an independent model who walked during Seoul Fashion Week. Seoul's Next Top Model was her fourth season and she ended with a runner-up finish. Her first international success came in 2016 when she received an exclusive worldwide contract by Louis Vuitton. She's appeared in many campaign since then and has also appeared on runways with a number of designers including Fendi as well as Marc Jacobs.
