Elizabeth Jane Hurley has been a model and actress in England since the 1980s. In 1990 it was reported that she could be Hugh Grant's lover. As the film of Grant Four Weddings and a Funeral became the subject of global interest in the media, Hurley accompanied Grant to the film's Los Angeles premiere wearing a black Versace dress and gold safety-pins. The dress instantly earned the attention of media. Her association to Estee Lauder has been the major highlight of her career. Hurley was first offered a modeling contract with the company when she was just 29 years old. The company has employed Hurley as a product model, especially for perfumes such as Sensuous Intuitions and Pleasures. In the movies that are a hit with fans, such as International Man of Mystery (1997) as well as Austin Powers The Spy Who Shagged Me (1998), Hurley played Vanessa Kensington.
